TITLE Regional Account Manager, US Southeast Region LOCATION The sales territory for this position is located in the mid-Atlantic, southeast region of the U.S. The ideal candidate will reside within the territory. JOB SUMMARY The Regional Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales bookings, revenue, and profit objectives within their territory; including identifying sales opportunities through daily prospecting, opportunity qualification, and leveraging company resources to bring opportunities to successful conclusion. Regional Account Managers create and build consultative, long-term relationships with their customers to create tailored, cost-effective solutions and value propositions. Involvement in C-Level customer relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction are essential to be successful in this role. JOB DUTIES Close sales directly with clients and prospects.Develop relationships with clients running clinical trials.Educate prospects on Mednet’s value proposition and solutions.Develop strong relationships with key decision makers to support your selling efforts – identify “Client Champions”.Establish and expand relationships with “C-Level” decision makers within customer organizations.Develop and execute strategic sales plans for specific opportunities.Partner with Market Development Specialists to identify effective go-to-market strategy.Build customer loyalty, provide an exceptional experience, achieve monetary and non-monetary sales targets and goals.Meet or exceed sales bookings, revenue, and profit targets.Conduct daily outbound calling through established campaigns to prospective customers.Coordinate resources within sales and other departments to achieve objectives.Maintain and update sales plans, account and opportunity data within company systems as directed, including Salesforce.Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline forecasting and quarterly business reviews.Attain daily, weekly, and quarterly productivity metrics.Represent Mednet in a manner consistent with Company business principles and ethics.Complete administrative work as required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL Strong track record of exceeding sales targets.Demonstrated consistent persistence and drive to achieve goals.Excellent organizational, time management skills, ability to multi-task, understand complex sales cycle.Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work in a professional team environment.Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent relevant sales and educational experience.A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience.Experienced with business planning, conducting account/opportunity reviews, utilizing various selling methodologies.Ability to gain C-Level credibility, understand organizational political dynamics and competitive awareness. PREFERRED Previous technology, software sales experience, or life sciences technology experience.Knowledge of the life sciences industry - pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, not-for-profit life sciences market, and Contract Research Organizations (CROs).Demonstrated success with process approached selling (SPIN, MEDDIC, B.A.N.T).
