Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL or Brooklyn, NY Position Overview: Nearpod is seeking a strategic, creative and KPI-driven Director of Growth Marketing to join our mission-driven company, drive rapid growth and lead the existing demand gen team (3-5 FTEs). Nearpod is a B2C2B company that prides itself on building a product that teachers love, which leads to schools and districts purchasing. This role will be responsible for driving demand for our B2C2B business via new and proven marketing channels. You have previous experience in B2C2B full funnel demand generation with a focus on acquiring, activating, engaging and converting free users to paid subscribers. Another key objective will be to generate high quality engagement from teachers that results in new school/district leads, opportunities and revenue for the Nearpod sales team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of creating impactful B2C2B marketing initiatives across budgets of multiple sizes and is 100% KPI-driven. Responsibilities: In collaboration with the marketing leadership team, product, sales and customer success, and in consultation with 3rd party agencies, drive the overall B2C2B strategy to acquire, activate, engage, and convert teachers to paid users across all adopted product Manage a team across multiple demand gen disciplines and levels Report on performance for all demand generation initiatives Collaborate with product on the customer journey to ensure high activation and engagement of the Nearpod product Collaborate with the sales and account teams to drive new pipeline and create awareness of Nearpod products Drive the overall strategy to ensure MQL to SQL conversion is greater than 15% Create and develop integrated marketing programs to drive MQL’s Oversee paid social platforms and drive the Nearpod teacher influencer strategy to increase teacher sign-ups Required Skills & Experience: 7+ years experience in demand generation across B2C and/or B2B Demonstrated understanding of a B2C2B/Freemium business model Previous experience managing a team of at least 3 people of various levels as well as agencies Demonstrated results in generating leads and sales pipeline Experience using marketing automation systems (e.g. Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) Strong SaaS experience, understands pipeline demand generation Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can make decisions quickly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally and drive influence within the organization Highly organized and strong project management skills - proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple campaigns at the same time Extra Credit: Previous experience in the K-12 edtech space Employment Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
