Key Account Manager Logikor is a fast paced and rapidly growing 3PL located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for qualified, focused, and driven individual, like yourself. The Key Account Manager position is the primary contact for our long-term and high valued client relationships. You will ensure that Logikor delivers on its promises and scope of work. This strategic role will deliver consistent and meaningful value enhancement for our clients on a daily basis. If you are up to the challenge, below are additional responsibilities for the role. Serve as primary client liaison to develop a sound understanding of client business and their business priorities in order to deliver an exceptional client experience. Ability to ask key questions and proactively dig into issues to get people and stakeholders to share information. Serve as the source of accountability to the client and internally for achieving client objectives and for managing operational costs, productivity, customer service, and financial impact. Take ownership as project manager for all client related initiatives. Ensure clear expectations are set and ensure that the expected results are delivered on-time and on-budget. Facilitate communication with the client and internal resources throughout the process. Effectively manage the team and the daily operations, maintaining and reporting on standard work processes. Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions. Ensure that the transportation execution, and specifically the Transportation Management Software (TMS) solution for each account, is fully managed for accuracy and efficiency. Effectively present information appropriate to the audience; including questions from executives, managers, and analysts while demonstrating an ability to manage differences in business approaches and individual styles. Establish in-depth knowledge of the client’s business (knowledge and understanding of the client’s product and supply chain, ability to speak the client’s language, understanding the client’s key service measures, etc.). Establish key performance indicators that are highly valuable to the customer, establish measurement and visibility tools, and set client goals and develop project plans based on the mutually agreed initiatives. Develop and manage to an operating budget. Manage all administrative activities related to the client relationship including contracting, renewals, billing calculations, and invoicing. Travel to clients’ locations to conduct meetings as needed. What do you need to be successful? 3 years of demonstrated success managing transportation or logistics services for clients, preferably for a non-asset based transportation management (3PL) provider with an emphasis on LTL, TL, Intermodal and parcel modes. Experience solving complex logistics problems. Understanding and ability to communicate the business value of managed transportation services, transportation management software (TMS), and our additional value-added services. Experience conducting transportation optimization (e.g. consolidations, mode/carrier selection, application of complex business rules). Experience with MercuryGate transportation management software or a similar software platform. Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related. What’s in it for you?
