JOB SUMMARY: The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of the branch office including the supervision of the Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse Coordinators. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall responsibility for branch accounting including processing daily invoices and applying cash receipts. Ensure a quick and proper response is given to all customer requests. Provide great customer service and technical assistance to dealers on product and application matters. Manage the activities of the branch staff and hold them accountable. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reporting and financial reconciliation. Ensure a prompt response is given to the accounting or corporate office. Ensure new customers are setup properly and that all necessary paperwork is on file. Ensure a current database of customers and prospects are maintained and updated regularly. Ensure office supports outside sales representatives(s) activities. Responsible for managing account collections. Coordinate and process customer warranty claims. Ensure orders are placed for inventory products as well as marketing and packaging supplies with the factory making sure that the branch is stocked with the right product at the right time. Coordinate and share inventory with other distribution centers and corporate factory as needed. Continuously coach employees to improve performance as well as on-board new employees as necessary. Responsible for interviewing and staffing branch to achieve the highest level of customer service. Demonstrate the ability to lead and attain results through others. Ensure all Customer Service Representatives and Warehouse personnel are properly trained to perform all functions of the branch. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations including but not limited to work instructions, procedures and policies. Ability to use basic math skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong team player and commitment to company values and mission. College degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of five (5) years management experience preferred. Proven track record of excellent Customer Service. 2 years of Retail Sales experience is preferred. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Ability to operate various software including CRM and MRP. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting up to 15 pounds as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The performance of this position represents a typical office environment but occasionally requires exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and steel toe or composite toe shoes.
