Job Summary: ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated project management intern to join the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team, located in Phoenix, Arizona. The ERM department’s mission is to help embed a risk-aware decision making culture across the company through frameworks, tools, processes and capabilities that facilitate the identification and management of risks and opportunities. As a Project Management Intern for ERM, you will supports all aspects of the ERM program. Performance Objectives: Responsibilities of the ERM Project Management Intern include: Increase awareness of ON Semiconductor’s ERM program and help build aptitude in quality decision-making through communication, training and workshops. Research real-life risk events faced by companies and industries (e.g. product safety risk, disruptive technology risk, etc.) to create a database of case studies for training purposes. Develop training modules for employees on risk management basics, risk appetite, decision-making quality, and cognitive biases. Draft written communication on ERM through company newsletter articles, blog posts, etc. Assist in organizing tabletop exercises that allows the Company to create a response plans for risk events. Coordinate quarterly risk champion meetings and other engagement opportunities with network of risk champions. Contribute to the strategic direction of the ERM program by developing or updating relevant policies and processes. Qualifications In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for a Bachelor’s (junior or senior year) or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, Economics, Enterprise Risk Management, or Strategic Risk Management.
