Job Description: You will have many different responsibilities and they will change as the East Coast business landscape changes. Here’s a view of what an average day would be: Contacting customers and showing them the latest developments in audio and video technology Planning and meeting a yearly and quarterly sales goal Working with Federal and Local Government to write contracts Travel to and from customer sites Using a basic CRM to track your opportunities and sales Communicating with your Sales Director and making strategic growth plans Job location is the greater DC area, with travel requirements to multiple points inside the territory - this will not have a routine commute and other activities Who you are: You need to be a self starter, someone who works well with little management You can work from a home office and maximize that benefit You have a drive to further your understanding of sales and audio video technology You have an education - minimum requirement is a 4-year degree from an accredited University You have experience selling to federal, state, and local government - not just low bid work from government job bid sites You can identify corporate accounts and help business develop other verticals You can drive and have a clean driving record You can manage a travel and expense budget And more… Job Types: Full-time, Commission Salary: $80,000.00 /year Experience: Government Sales: 3 years (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) License: Drivers (Preferred) Work authorization: United States (Required) Benefits offered: Paid time off Health insurance Dental insurance Retirement benefits or accounts
