This position is responsible for pricing startups and demand to support Operations, Engineering and Sales in the RFP process. Responsible for ensuring technical requirements are met as outlined in the scope or statements of work. This position reports to the Manager of Implementation Services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with the IT Management team to define and implement Standard RFP pricing strategy of IT components including Solution Cost, Infrastructure, Equipment etc for new startups or conversions from legacy WMS systems.
Work with different stakeholders from Operations, Engineering and Sales to design and scope the warehouse operational flow on NFI deployed WMS systems (Manhattan WMOS, Foursite, Exceed etc.).
Review RFP requirements in detail and work with internal NFI team to price various IT components including Integration, Development, Deployment, Implementation Support etc.
Support Engineering and Sales teams during RFP process.
Work and collaborate with cross functional teams and strive opportunities for innovation and standardization.
Look for opportunities of innovation and evaluate new WMS capabilities, Automated WCS solutions to provide “Better, Faster, Cheaper” RFP response.
Act as point of contact for IT Client Services-Sales support.
Provide customer relationship management for new customers during the RFP Proposal process.
Track, manage and communicate RFP updates to Senior IT Management Develop advanced technical and functional knowledge of the IT applications to help define and oversee the creation of innovative solutions for the potential new customers or conversions from legacy WMS systems.
Degree - BA / BS preferred
Prior experience with Manhattan WMOS is preferred.
Prior experience with Sales Support or RFP process is preferred.
5+ years of Supply Chain Management exposure, Warehouse Management implementation, Customer support or operational experience.
Ability to manage large and small scale projects utilizing proven project management methodologies.
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of the technologies, solutions and development options available for the solution.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate with a client at all levels of management.
MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Access.
Basic understanding of relational databases, application development, networking, PC hardware and phones.
Travel required – 25% to 35% depending on projects
Physical Labor Requirements – onsite training & walk-through in the warehouse
