Everbridge is hiring a newly-added growth position of Director of Sales to lead a regional sales team of Account Executives focused on Financial Services accounts. This role will focus on managing current reps and expanding the team to drive revenue and achieve greater market penetration within the region. The team’s primary focus is on hunting new customers, but the team is also responsible for expanding the footprint of existing customers by selling new applications into the base. Candidates will ideally be located in the Western US or be based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters. What you'll do: Drive your team to successfully achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas through proven leadership, strong business acumen, problem-solving and consultative selling skills. Hire, train and motivate your sales team, including providing regular coaching and mentoring for personal development and professional advancement. Establish and monitor KPIs that align to your team’s business plan around pipeline generation and delivering predictable revenue. Manage to a repeatable sales process that is focused on discovery, qualification solution mapping. Develop and refine tools for monitoring and providing regular reporting on success and performance improvement. Coordinate with other departments on technical, business and deployment issues Leverage Salesforce.com to track and report team all forecasts, sales activities, pipeline management to accurately forecast and grow sales. What you'll bring: SaaS Sales Leader with 5+ years’ experience managing a team of 6-10 quota carrying reps. Experience leading “hunting” focused teams driving new logo acquisition and closing growth business within customer whitespace. Experience helping a team sell an enterprise platform with multiple product and navigating through multiple buyers across and organization. Experience scaling sales teams and revenues within a SaaS environment. Proven leadership qualities, including selecting and developing staff, communicating a vision and inspiring teams. Good judgment and business acumen with a keen ability to assess people, processes and products. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and problem resolution skills. Excellent written and communication skills. Ability to interact and partner with all levels of management. Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel up to 30%. Specialized Skills and Knowledge: Experience in the sale of ITSM solutions, System Monitoring & Management, Communication services, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery products are highly desirable. Experience with Sandler Selling, SPIN Selling, or Solution Selling a plus.
