Candidates must have a strong work ethic and the ability to self-manage. The IT Sales Consultant will create and present ideas and solutions to business professionals -- so high energy and an excitement for selling (with a positive attitude) is a must. The IT Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling IT based solutions, specifically managed services, virtualization, classic Microsoft solutions, Microsoft Office 365, cloud computing platforms, cloud services, disaster recovery, security, data storage, & application delivery. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: Generate new business using a variety of prospecting tools Schedule appointments, prepare presentations, proposals, demonstrate equipment Develop solutions that demonstrate value added benefits to customers Identify and properly qualify potential prospects and customers Listen and understand customer needs and requirements with high priority on customer satisfaction Maintain knowledge of company and competitor’s equipment Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in marketing, computer science, business, or MIS preferred Relevant outside sales experience considered Excellent oral and written communication skills Independent self-starter attitude with a strong work ethic Experience using Connectwise or similar sales CRM a plus Enthusiasm and positive attitude Ability to pay attention to detail & manage multiple ongoing client engagements Aptitude to prospect net new business as well as cultivate new opportunities within existing clients Ability to perform under pressure and work well in a team environment An IT background selling solutions with reoccurring revenues preferred Love to laugh Strategic Systemsis dedicated to being the premier digital office solutions provider in the Raleigh-Durham/Triangle area.
