By injecting intelligence and automation into traditional sales, our platform is able to achieve a low customer acquisition cost and sell faster.We are looking for people that have experience selling online marketing or sales automation SAAS products to marketers. We have very strong traction with some of the world;s largest companies like Google, Yahoo, Nokia, Microsoft, Foursquare and others.Responsibilities include the ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, conducting sales presentations, and successfully closing business for Merchant Atlas. The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, ability to build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business and have strong interpersonal and presentation skills:Focus on increasing market share for Merchant Atlas products through outbound telephone and email prospecting within large markets;Plan, coordinate, and deliver web based product demos;Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition;Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested;Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our competitive positioning in the marketplace;Meet or exceed revenue quotaRequirements:Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate our value;Must be organized, detail and process oriented;Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment;Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues;Existing relationships within similar markets is preferred5+ years of successful sales experience in related field. Experience selling to business units like sales and marketing teams in publishers such as Yahoo to the small local newspaper is preferred.
