Alpha Media – Bakersfield, CA is seeking an exceptional and experienced Digital Sales Managers for multiple opportunities throughout the country. These individuals will be responsible for prospecting and developing business with new and existing clients. The successful candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of motivating and leading a sales team to consistent, sustainable digital revenue growth with all of our multiple digital products. Those products include targeted display, social media platform contesting, and website and mobile sales. The successful candidates must be committed to return on investment for advertisers and possess knowledge of relevant market intelligence and trends including evolving technologies, consumer behaviors, client expectations, shifting competitive landscape and operational efficiencies. Responsibilities for this position may include: Must be a “big game hunter”, a sales professional willing to make client calls, put proposals together, and sell our products to local clients. Develop and manage key relationships with decision makers, both independently and with the sales team, of current and potential clients to grow revenue across Alpha Media platforms. Call on general media advertising agencies and exclusive digital agencies Work directly with local CEOs, CMOs, business owners, media planners, and other key decision makers to create marketing strategies. Actively participate in business and community associations with the intension of developing extensive relationships with local influencers and decision makers. Develop and maintain the overall revenue growth plan and requisite reporting for the Interactive sales effort. Leverage appropriate internal resources to deliver value to customers. Proactively identify, develop, coach, and manage sales force toward Interactive, and support their sales activity. Drive results through sales team and hold them accountable to expectations. Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with the ability to adapt quickly and consistently exceed sales targets. Communicate and work with Corporate, Marketing, and local sales management teams Requirements of this position include the following: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of five years’ experience in sales with a minimum of two years of direct digital sales experience. A minimum of two years’ experience in Interactive Media with the proven ability to grow business and target new revenue opportunities. A proven track record of sales success working directly with decision makers with tangible results. A proven track record of exceptional leadership skills and holding employees accountable to business and sales metrics. Ability to train and coach sales team to maximize revenue through Interactive, and ‘lead from the front’ management techniques. Knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others. Experience creating positive energy in the face of challenges and the ability to communicate in a way that focuses, inspires, and engages employees to deliver results. Stellar written and presentation skills with excellent communication and influencing abilities across multiple levels. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
