Job Summary: Our Professional Services Department is looking for a hardworking, innovative and goal driven Implementation Engineer to contribute to the continued success of our company. This is an implementation resource position within our Professional Services team in an exciting, customer interfacing role that couples technical and client relationship skills to successfully implement our Digital Banking software solutions. The Implementation Engineer will facilitate functionality discussions while providing guidance to clients to ensure that the Digital Banking solution is adopted and implemented effectively. Excellent communication, along with analytical, problem solving and organizational skills are crucial to the success of this position. This position will be located in either our Peachtree Corners, GA office or Austin, TX office. Candidates outside these locations but with exceptional related industry and product experience will be considered for our other office locations or work remotely. Responsibilities: Leads requirements discussions between the Alogent and customer teams, bridge the gap between the customer’s business needs and the Alogent products, including: Demonstrate and explain product features Act as Subject matter expert (SME) Verbalize, discuss, document client requirements and interact with Alogent Product management team Definition and creation of workflows and business rules. Definition of the hardware, system software, and network configurations required for implementations. Assist and provide oversight with installation, testing and validation of Alogent products, either on-site or remote, with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. Conduct analysis and resolution of complex client problems/situations while practicing excellent client relation skills. Partner with 3rd party integration vendors to understand solution and review API documents to articulate development and implementation needs. Collaborate with Product and Development teams to evaluate and iterate on requirements during project phases and sign off on product demos. Participate and assist in various interdepartmental processes including technical sales support, defect reporting and handover to support. Recognize and communicate internally, the potential for additional products and/or services sales to existing clients. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of digital banking platforms/solutions experience and detailed knowledge in online and mobile banking deployment model. Experience integrating into Core Banking products, P2P, Bill Pay or similar banking experience. Specific experience implementing or maintaining enterprise-level systems such as Digital Banking Single-Sign-On and API Online banking integration. Assist in understanding and addressing client questions. Ability to articulate technical concepts to business team. Ability to lead others through product implementation. Ability to provide a consultative approach to client specific requirements and to assist in applying configuration recommendations that best match the client’s needs. Documenting requirements using elicitation techniques such as scenarios (use cases) / prototyping. Documentation, problem solving and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders. Resolving complex requirement conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement. Ability to communicate with others of varying technical ability in a clear and professional manner. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). A team player with strong relationship building skills. Self-starter with the proven ability to identify what needs to be accomplished as well as prioritize and deliver multiple tasks concurrently. Preferred Skills and Experience: Prior bank or credit union experience a strong plus. Prior experience working for a software product company. Superior oral and written communication skills with the proven full software development life-cycle experience; waterfall or agile. Understanding of Product Release concepts, defect management, configuration management. MS Project or other project management tools Team player, with proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities and deliverables. Ability to assist with project management activities. Working with US and international clients Understanding of hosted and on-premises installation Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of software security best practices. Working Conditions: This position may require you to work on weekends, or occasionally be on call after hours.
