ALMACO in Nevada, Iowa is now seeking a new member of our executive leadership team to develop and execute growth strategies globally. This newly created role of Chief Growth Officer will oversee all revenue-generating departments and play a pivotal role in the development of new business, market cultivation, product development, the client experience, and internal alignment to achieve long term growth goals. This role is tasked with organization-wide cohesion and keeping all departments aligned with the organizational vision to deliver optimum client experiences that in turn will support and drive revenue growth and profitability. About the Chief Growth Officer role: This person will be a member of our Executive Leadership Team and will be involved in the highest level of decision making in the business. They will be the leader of the Sales, Service, and Engineering teams, They will directly supervise the Sales Manager, Director of Service, and the Director of Engineering, and indirectly managing Sales and Service teams of 30-40 employees, including Territory Managers, Sales Support, Field Service Technicians, Factory Service Technicians, and Customer Phone Support Technicians, and Engineering teams of 30-40 employees, including Sr Engineering Managers, Engineering Supervisors, Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Designers and Drafters. This person will be responsible for shoring up the necessary operational fundamentals within the Sales, Service, and Engineering departments that will promote a solid foundation for growth and predictability. This includes implementing or improving the necessary people skill sets and processes to promote sustainable revenue and profit performance for the core business so the company is well-positioned for growth They will focus on sustaining and growing our market share through revenue growth in products, clients and global market segments and have accountability overall revenue generation. They will manage the product portfolio to ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and in scope, and also will recommend and execute all aspects of product development investments. We are also seeking a person to develop into the “Integrator” role within our company in the future. To us, this means understanding the shareholder vision and aligning the needs and the goals of each department to ensure organization-wide cohesion at all levels. This position will report to the CEO. Accountabilities of the Chief Growth Officer: Execution of revenues and profit targets. Management of Engineering KPI’s. Optimization and execution of product development investments. Development of new business. Delivery of world-class client experience. People development. Process improvement. Clarity and cohesion of organization vision, values, and alignment of goals. Job Responsibilities (Daily Work): Executive Group Collaborate with the Executive team on organizational strategy. Promote ALMACO values of integrity, diligence, and reputation. Sales Development Gather data on competition/market. Make plans for geographical development. Identify, lead, integrate and audit continuous improvement activities in Sales and Service operations. Engage with the Sales team to ensure that revenue and profit targets are always exceeded. Engineering Alignment Align product plans and Engineering resources for market share growth. Ensure that projects are on time, on budget, and in scope. Portfolio Management Manage product portfolio and R&D commitments for market share growth. Recommend, execute, deploy, audit, and communicate all aspects of product development investments to the Executive Group. Client Experience Define what adds value for clients and their evolving needs. Create and implement metrics to measure and improve client interactions. Promote organization-wide initiatives to involve all employees in client-focused performance. Integration Collaborate with departments at ALMACO to assist with decision making and vision alignment. Promote inter-department communication. Requirements for success in the Chief Growth Officer role: Senior Management Team, VP business acumen, or C-level leadership experience. Bachelor's Degree with an MBA preferred. 10+ years of Executive-level Sales and Marketing leadership, which must include capital sales (agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or other heavy machinery.) Proven experience with business development, including portfolio management, global market development, and R&D product pipeline investments. Proven experience with management of an Engineering or R&D team. A passion for the client experience and operational excellence. Experience leading multi-department teams. A very high level of charisma and emotional intelligence in order to promote organizational unity and bring people together for a common goal. Technical Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and a driving record that meets ALMACO standards for insurance purposes. Eligibility to obtain a Passport.
