Job Description

Allegis Corporation, a leading supplier of industrial access hardware, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to expand our team. This position requires a service minded individual with strong, professional communication and interpersonal skills and exhibit the following attributes: Adaptable to varying business conditions Accurate Efficient Organized Interactive (External and Internal customers) Mechanically Inclined Fast Learner Familiarity with Microsoft Windows (Excel spreadsheets, Adobe PDF files, scanning/attaching documents, etc) is required. Familiarity with Eclipse (Epicor) business software and Tour de Force CRM software are very advantageous! Responsibilities and Duties: Answer incoming calls from existing and prospective customers Take care of customer requests sent in via email Order entry and acknowledgement, shipment tracking, forecast data entry, and customer specific portal usage Enter Bids for Inside and Outside Sales Initiate Corrective Action Reports (Internal and External) Provide administrative support to sales team, General Manager and warehouse For consideration you should - Be willing to engage in long term learning of an extensive line of product offerings - latches, hinges, gas springs, sealing profiles, handles, drawer slides, door assists, and more) Be able to read basic engineering prints (length, width, height, thickness, material/plating). Be capable of multi-tasking (answer calls, enter orders, call/email customers, follow up on quotes, etc Be a cooperative team player (work with fellow CSR team, Sales and warehouse personnel) Be detail oriented and well organized Be able to adapt to varying business demands The ideal candidate should – Have 3+ years of Customer Service center experience Have basic business sense - Gross Profit Margin, Sell Price vs Cost, Supply vs Demand Have experience with Eclipse and/or TDF software XJ6
