Account Manager Focused entirely on Advancing Battery Management, our impressive growth in worldwide transportation markets is rooted in the innovative spirit and dedication of all employees and we are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager will maintain and expand relationships with strategic OEMs, major accounts or aftermarket retail automotive customers and have direct responsibility for achieving assigned sales and bookings in addition to short and long-term strategic account objectives while respecting, supporting and preserving established Midtronics channel partners. The Account Manager must understand the customer's existing & future requirements, brand strategy and organizational hierarchy and will create winning sales strategies to successfully bring project engagements to purchase orders. Responsibilities: Responsible for sales growth, new business development and problem resolution paths with Auto OEM's and Major Aftermarket Automotive retail service providers in North America markets. Develop and manage vital partnership relationships with key decision makers and influencers. Cultivate and build industry experience, market knowledge and bonding relationships through active participation with key Aftermarket and industry supported organizations and boards. Develop and execute strategic account plans through identification of customer value/problem identification/solution analysis. Identify and work with Customer Champions and Project Approvers. Lead Midtronics internal/Customer external/3rd party influencers or program facilitators in customer solution development. Expand relationships vertically and horizontally within Major Accounts managed. Complex Customer presentations, develop equipment, system and software proposals along with capex validation to achieve successful Customer approval for major programs. Quarterly and Annual budget planning, tracking and reporting on Major accounts managed for Midtronics leadership team. Develop, document, track and execute account plans utilizing documented Sales Responsibilities & Procedures to include maintenance of opportunity dashboards, customer road mapping, engagement trackers, and CRM customer documentation and call reports Requirements: 5 Years sales or marketing of high dollar programs requiring high level committee financial approval BA/BS – MBA a Plus Strong customer engagement and long-term relationship building experience Strong Microsoft office, network communications protocols, verbal, and written communication skill set required Experience in customer value evaluation, ROI analysis and detailed program quote generation is required Strong work ethic, team building experience, ability to work well under pressure while handing multiple tasks, self-starter and learner Existing C-level relationships within automotive OEM’s, retailers or major accounts is a plus Able to travel overnight 50% of time for direct customer/industry engagement to support and develop new opportunities
