POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the sales staff through the evaluation, analysis, and management of loan transactions of current and prospective customers including periodic account reviews. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Obtains and analyzes credit information through investigation and conducts financial analyses utilizing financial statement software. Reviews loan transactions for current and prospective clients. Prepares transactions for approval, both written and verbally. Assists senior credit analyst with regional/division work flow. Maintains credit records and performs periodic review of current customers. Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements. Performs all other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: One (1) to three (3) years experience preferred. Accounting or finance background preferred. Good PC skills-proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential. Understanding of consumer lending involving credit reports or credit bureau analysis. Problem solving skills with attention to detail. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Self-motivated; ability to work independently. Good written and verbal communication skills. High degree of attention to detail. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree required.
