The Cloud Account Executive will define the sales plan for cloud solutions across the assigned region, coordinate a team of sales/technical resources, build key relationships with internal SHI sellers, customer leadership, and C-level executives. This position will report to the Director of Sales & Business Development. Responsibilities: Include but not limited to:Grow SHI's existing customer base for cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)Establish and Develop Strategic C-Level Relationships and Go-to-market strategy to help SHI’s customers transform their enterprises through cloud solution technologiesGenerate, identify and drive pipeline by understanding customer needs and position relevant SHI solutions and servicesReport, forecast, and track sales activity in respective regions to ensure high cloud based activities and opportunities progressManage pipeline, customer success metrics and tracking to key resultsDevelop, test, refine, and scale sales strategies for adoption of cloudMaintain continuous education of the core cloud platform products operationsContinued education on new services, technology, and programs from key cloud solution partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)Help customers understand the value of the public cloud by properly leveraging the elasticity and scalability of the cloudGuide customers through modernization of their existing hybrid cloud infrastructure through cloud-connected solutionsDrive customers toward advancement through containerization and leveraging cloud native application architecturesIdentify customers’ current backup/retention strategy and help them leverage the off-site data durability, redundancy, and on demand scalability of the public cloud for tiered storage, data protection, and disaster recovery use casesImprove the cloud acumen of the SHI field/inside sales teams by partnering with regional and district managers and working closely with Technical Resources in your assigned region.Provide feedback to SHI delivery teams to ensure future offerings are aligned to customer needs and use casesAssisting SHI Sellers and Customers Navigate Cloud Vendor Programs for FundingStrategically partnering with SHI's Sales Leadership and Account ExecutivesDevelop close relationships with SHI sellers, internal resources, and SHI leadershipWork collaboratively with SHI cloud and service partners in delivering long-term value to our customersPresent at customer events and travel to market locationsFrequent Regional travel required (50% or more)Work together with SHI Cloud Adoption teams to remove the barriers for growth of cloud and guarantee seamless deployment of customer solutions Qualifications:Minimum 1-3 years technical sales experience, with strong emphasis on cloud solutions/services selling (AWS/Azure/GCP)Proven track record of driving results and exceeding expectationsBachelor’s degree required Certifications: AWS Cloud practitioner/Azure Fundamentals/GCP (Required to obtain within 90 days of start date) Required Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and motivational skillsExcellent presentation skillsAbility to utilize Dynamics CRM, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to drive engagement at the C-level as well as with IT architects, DevOps Admins, and software developers.
