Job Description

MemSQL is looking for an accomplished Inside Sales Manager to lead our rapidly growing team of inside sales representatives in our HQ. He/She will manage a growing sales team with a focus on building skills including prospecting, lead qualification, objection handling, along with measuring performance.The successful candidate will be able to balance sales management and sales strategy; will build and execute plans that address gaps in individual and team performance; will be focused on growing this team, establishing a productive and collaborative work environment and ensuring each member is achieving their goals.Your Background:;Proven track record of successfully building and training successful sales teams;Metrics-driven;Functional knowledge of SFDC;Creative and strategic approach to generating qualified leads;Experience in direct enterprise-level, high-tech sales;Knowledge of the big data space is idealResponsibilities:;Develop strategy for scaling and managing both the inside sales and sales development teams;Build dashboards and reports in SFDC;Identify and make improvements in process, efficiency, enablement, and productivity;Establish lead generation processes, design and implement a training program and create materials for new reps;Manage day-to-day operations of inside and sales development reps, setting expectations and ensuring goals are being met;Manage a team;s quota attainment and provide guidance for a successful close;Measure and take an analytical look at the business and sales funnel, internalize key performance metrics, and put plans for improvement into actionExperience:;Minimum of 3 years in a sales management position;Experience using Salesforce.com is a must;Outstanding communication, relationship development and leadership skillsStrong prioritization skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment;Ability to motivate team members to help them reach and exceed sales goals
