About the Role As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be working under the guidance of the department Director to provide desktop and general support to the local corporate offices, work with third party vendors to support the studio environments and provide general reporting support all of YogaWorks’ POS / studio management systems. We are looking for a resourceful candidate who can successfully self-manage priorities and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure digital requests are delivered accurately and on time. This position requires a significant amount of time spent editing content and products in our POS / studio management systems especially our booking and sales system, MindBodyOnline. We are looking for a highly organized candidate who will be meticulous about quality control and the accuracy of our inventory of products and promotions as they are set up in both the back and front end. Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical support and expertise for Windows 7, 8+ and 10, Mac Provide technical support and expertise for Microsoft Office User profile and account maintenance (Active Directory, Gmail, Mindbody, etc.) Windows computer and printer set-up and management Phone system extension and user setup Basic networking skills Excellent follow-through and communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills Become an authority of all studio facing POS / studio management related systems, perform research,make configuration changes and develop training modules around commonly reported issues Work with third party support vendors Great service attitude. Provide reporting to multiple stakeholders Other duties that may be assigned to help company meet goals Qualifications and Experience 1-2 years related experience Experience working with POS / studio management systems a plus Experience with MindBodyOnline a plus Ability to process and analyze data in Excel (Proficiency: Intermediate) Experience with retail store processes desired Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with special proofreading attention to consumer facing content Project management experience a bonus Skills Sets Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally Dependable, accountable and responsible Proactive problem solver; detail-oriented, self motivated Excellent written and verbal skills Work Environment This job operates primarily in an office environment, but may involve work within the community and/or visiting studios. Not all locations have elevators or offer physically-disabled access. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must be able to work hours that exceed eight hours per day and/or 40 hours per week including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to bend and carry files/products/boxes in order to organize as well as prepare for meetings and events. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift a box of up to 20-30 pounds or load a ream of paper into the copier which requires lifting and/or bending. Must be able to travel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust and focus. Strong verbal skills (proficient in English) Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone.
