Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Direct creative, messaging elements, and creative fulfillment to vendors and optimization to ROI performance.
Work closely with advertising agency to direct all SEO, SEM, CRM, digital media and advertising creative development and execution.
Understand and manage hotel pricing and promotions to drive room night sales and average daily rate.
Work closely with theme park marketing team, corporate marketing, the advertising agency, and other internal partners to execute programs and promotions.
Direct content/photography and listings on all OTA websites (Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, etc).
Manage guest and public communications including lodge website and hotel creative.
Oversee and execute all in-lodge signage for consistent messaging. Including all in-house food & beverage marketing design and collateral pieces.
Orchestrate all hospitality photography and video shoots with agencies. Support and maintain extensive property photography library.
Communicate performance metrics with stakeholders such as analytics of occupancy trending, campaign performance and impact to the business.
Develop and execute cutting-edge promotional programs and lodging packages in both core and outer markets that increase market and brand awareness.
Manage the marketing financials (budgets/forecasts/billing).
Analyze metrics to drive strategic planning and recommendations.
Play a leadership role in the development of new lodge products, events, and marketing to optimize key consumer segments.
Partner with resort marketing team on event marketing strategy and execution.
Responsible for the development and management of all aspects of marketing the Six Flags brand as it relates to the Great Escape Resort, as well as champion the corporate marketing mission for Six Flags.
All other duties assigned by Senior Management.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Director of Sales & Marketing
Skills and Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Three to five years successful experience in a hotel or theme park marketing, entertainment marketing, and/or marketing agency environment.
Outstanding skills in budgeting, leadership, organization, motivation, team building, communication, listening, guest service, safety, analysis and accountability.
Must be professional, possess effective communication skills, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, assist in resort wide projects as required, ability to multi task, possess strong leadership skills, and have a positive attitude.
Ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and internet.
Must be willing to work varied shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
