The Territory Manager is required to have experience with outside capital equipment sales in an industrial or commercial setting and will work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. This opportunity represents Shoppa's Material Handling and requires professionalism, great attitude, good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, outstanding customer service, and good mechanical aptitude.
Primary Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Promote the company and all products and services
Resolve customer issues
Coordinate with department managers, TM’s customer and OEM to resolve issues
Retain current Shoppa’s customers
Provide survey’s, demo’s local support and consultative advice to all internal and external customers
Prospect for new customers by telephone, face to face, e-mail and networking
Cold call on prospective customers and follow up on referrals
Prepare new equipment proposals
Ensure the specs and pricing are correct on the proposal
Verify customer credit with the credit department
Confirm availability of stock
Communicate discounts and incentives and apply to invoice
Create customized presentation packages for the client
Participates in supplier meetings as appropriate for opportunities assessment, project evaluation, lead follow-up, and results reports.
Effectively cover the territories on a daily basis
Performs other special projects as assigned.

Requirements (include, but not limited to):
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years successful outside capital equipment sales experience in an industrial or commercial environment
Excellent communications skills, written and oral, required.
Good mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and presentation skills required.
Strong computer skills, including experience with ACT! software and MS Office preferred.
