Help Desk Technician
SEI is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, solid customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills to join our helpdesk. We provide technical support and over-the-phone troubleshooting for computer hardware and software.
This position comes with $12.50/hour plus shift differential and solid benefits like 401K and PTO. We will provide all the training and equipment you need to succeed in this position! Available shifts vary throughout the week, Sunday to Saturday. This position is Remote in any of our qualifying states: FL, IL, MN, MT, ND, NV, and SD.
We provide technical support for custom point-of-sale software, hardware, network communications, Windows 7, Office, Exchange and SQL over the phone, or through remote management delivering high customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.
Answering inbound calls or emails and troubleshooting issues through to resolution
Provide accurate documentation for all caller incidents
Following up with the customer on open issues
Escalate advanced help requests as needed
Demonstrates excellent teamwork behaviors and the ability to work within approved processes
A general background in desktop support and network communications
Comfortable with Windows O/S, Linux, Office, Exchange, SQL
Strong customer service experience
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving and research skills with the ability to take ownership of a problem
Ability to support customers with various knowledge levels
