Job Description

EnergyHub is looking for a sales leader to build on our track record of over twenty successful utility deployments. This position will help us achieve our goal of making EnergyHub the dominant player in next-generation utility demand response and energy efficiency.A) Sell the company;s demand response and energy efficiency products and services to utilities, including EnergyHub;s demand response management system and scalable demand response performance contractsB) Manage RFP process (develop, write and project-manage proposals) and negotiate contractsC) Manage and develop sales strategy and pipeline, communicating progress and results with the company and boardD) Manage EnergyHub;s sales team for successE) Develop and manage strategic partnerships with potential software distribution partnersF) Design, develop, and track performance metrics for sales activities—we;re a small, nimble company focusing on high-ROI opportunitiesG) Assist in setting the company;s revenue and strategic targets and ensure that the company meets those goalsH) Provide utility prospects (and sales team) with convincing, compelling business cases and arguments to support value of EnergyHub;s offeringsI) Work closely with utilities to understand current and future utility needs and identify new business opportunities; collaborate with the product and marketing teams to ensure that we;re building the right products and delivering the right messages to the marketJ) Ensure products are enabling success for our existing customers and partnersK )Represent EnergyHub at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
