The Product Business Analyst?plays a vital role in the overall creation of requirements, documentation, and development of current and future software products across multiple Agile Software Development Teams. This position works in alignment with Product, other Covetrus technical teams, and is highly interactive with the Commercial business partners. The scope of the role includes requirements gathering and documentation,?collaborating with business, product, and engineering teams to understand customer needs and assist development and quality engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable, testable user stories. Primarily, this role supports large, strategic initiatives – from ideation through delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Become a Subject Matter Expert on the Domains assigned, working across Product Engineering Teams. Gather and document requirements from both internal and external customers Assist with identifying?workflow and process gaps and issues? Organize and conduct?requirement reviews with stakeholders and development teams Coordinate cross-functional requirements across teams- ensuring interdependencies are documented, understood, and communicated. Work with?product and development?managers?to ensure?sprint and release plans?demonstrate traceabiility Drive a tenacious focus in validating that what the team is building will meet the needs and demands of our customers Participate in and foster a working environment where creativity, innovation, ownership and teamwork are encouraged and rewarded SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis, technical writing or related fields with demonstrated requirement elicitation, customer journey mapping, and business process modeling strongly preferred. Industry experience in technology-enabled healthcare, animal health, and pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS We appreciate Agile and BA-specific certifications. COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Solid business networking and customer relationship skills. Ability to meet targeted goals; strong organizational skills; attentive to detail. Experience in a dynamic, fluid and exhilarating AGILE working environment. Knowledge of multiple BA techniques and skills required to effectively deliver customer-oriented solutions.
