We are looking for individuals interested in fostering relationships with prospective students in our admissions department. A successful candidate desires to develop long withstanding counselor-student relationships, supports students in making well informed decisions about their college plans and can work independently in a fast paced office environment.
Ability and willingness to complete 100 calls per day to prospective student inquiries in a database in an effort to build a personal student pipeline.
Facilitate contact over various periods of time with potential candidates for admission and foster relationships with those individuals throughout admissions process.
Knowledge of Central Penn programs, features, benefits, and admissions requirements
Maintain appropriate documentation regarding student contact in various software programs related to the admissions department
Attend on-campus and off campus events, including networking and open house enrollment events
Manage multiple projects, students, and responsibilities
Ideal Candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred with 1-2 years equivalent business knowledge and customer relations experience; associates degree with proven track record in admissions and minimum of 5 or more years of experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced sales based environment
Strong communication skills, coaching, presentation, and relationship building talents.
Self-motivated approach toward achieving consistent recruitment results
Ability and desire to collaborate, innovate, and think outside the box.
Leadership, organization, time management, multi-tasking, and planning capabilities
Strong computer skills
Willingness to work evening hours and travel on occasion
