The Marketing and Events Coordinator will directly support business development, community and employee engagement through a variety of corporate events and meetings; including company celebrations, client entertainment, thought-leadership seminar and panel discussions. This role will work closely with the Director of Marketing, sales and community leaders to develop, plan, and execute all events across the Bank’s footprint. Independently develop content and work closely with Graphic Design Specialist to create event-based marketing material – invites, programs, social media posts to name a few. Supports Director of Marketing in annual budgeting process, providing feedback and inputting events-related budget line items. Essential Job Functions: Conceptualizes, plans and executes the majority of corporate events and meetings - both internal and external. Manages end-to-end event planning responsibilities including event sponsorship assessment and planning, invite list/RSVP management, promotional item inventory management, custom client/COI gift procurement. Engages in event marketing content development so to ensure that events remain fresh, engaging and informative. Develops and works with Graphic Design Specialists or Advertising Agency to design event-based marketing materials including invitations, programs and social media promotion. Manages administration of bank-wide employee recognition program. This includes compiling documentation to support selection process and coordinating nearly all aspects of the announcement event and the recognition event. Actively manage social media accounts to craft key business and community events, news, highlights. Work with Graphic Design Specialist to submit to Compliance for review prior to posting. Monitor Bank of Marin general mail boxes and social media channels to respond to inquiries. Actively work with Director of Marketing, Compliance Manager and Sales Leadership to report all complaints/reviews online and determine best course of action. Propose potential responses to inquiries, as appropriate. Tracks all events (dates, attendance, feedback) in which the Bank participates and partners with Director of Marketing to provide monthly reporting to senior management and all bank employees. Continually monitor event spend and adhere to budget requirements. Works with Corporate Administrative team to provide logistical support for Board- and Shareholder-related events. Manages relationships with events-related vendors by negotiating contracts and continually evaluating service quality. Project manages the creation and distribution of the annual Bank of Marin Community Calendar. Supports Director of Marketing in the Marketing Department annual budgeting process and invoice processing. Responsibilities include research, record-keeping, check request and account reconciliation for all Marketing team invoices. Other essential functions as assigned. Job Skill Level / Additional Requirements: Proficient in Adobe InDesign graphic design software preferred. Knowledge of project or event management system preferred. Professional Experience / Educational Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training. Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training. Degree in Marketing is preferred.
