Chicory is the leading food technology company to serve insights based advertising solutions for food and CPG brands. Chicory;s core technology normalizes catalogs recipe and ingredient data across the web. While this helps to power our ‘get ingredients; button that makes recipes shoppable, it also allows us to analyze data across the web in order to help brands innovate and reach a highly relevant, targeted online audience.

POSITION;As an early employee at Chicory, you will have a significant impact on the direction of not only the sales and advertising efforts but of the company as a whole. You will be working within a small team and reporting directly to the founders of the company.Because we are in growth mode, you will have your fingers in all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, pitching and closing sales as well as managing new account executives and account managers that are brought on in the future.Experience in the food/bev/CPG space is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS;- 4+ years in digital/online media sales experience;- Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines;- Proven record of effective digital advertising sales and achieving or exceeding revenue goals;- Background in consultative selling and presentation of complex marketing solutions;- Experience working with food/beverage/CPG clients and contacts in the industry;- Experience in account management and working to create client presentations-;- Experience negotiating, structuring, and closing complex six figure insertion orders;- Ability to understand complex technology and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner;- Deep network of agency and advertiser relationships
