Based in New York, you will play a key role in sourcing and establishing relationships across brands, agencies, and partners. As the only independent player in the space that;s not selling media, Placed acts as a strategic partner across a wide swath of companies. Rather than searching for IOs, you will be a owning a more strategic sale, focused around connecting the digital to the physical world.;As New York Sales Director at Placed, you will:* Educate the client on the value and actionability of location as it relates to Placed Attribution, Placed Targeting, and Placed Insights;* Act as the expert across Placed's services;* Build upon existing partnerships to support our industry leading partners at the publisher, network, and technology level;* Successfully achieve our predefined sales objectives, and maintain sales forecast in an accurate and thorough manner;* Work independently, being a self-starter with good team work and great communications skills as the role is remote and part of an overall national team;* Use Salesforce to regularly reports detailed customer information for purposes of keeping the organization informed, as well as keeping customer contact and company databases currentOur ideal Sales Director will have:* 4+ years; experience sales management / large account sales / enterprise sales in the New York area;* A history of strategic selling to agencies, advertisers, and brands;* A proactive and creative approach to sourcing new clients (Hunter vs Farmer);* Knowledge of the mobile, advertising, and analytics space;* Excellent relationship development skills and communication skills – verbal and written;* Strong organization and planning skills, and be a great team player;* Solid knowledge of data analytics and ability to take particular uses cases and build data streams to support analyses that support the use cases.;* Be able to travel as needed (around 25%);
