Job Description

As the Strategic Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for existing customer accounts in the Sales organization. You will proactively advocate for the customer -- focusing on high levels of adoptions to ensure customer satisfaction and be responsible for all upgrades and renewals within your accounts. You will identify key MBOs from customers to drive project plans, milestones and creation of customer champions as a trusted advisor.Job Responsibilities:Key member of a new team focused on strategic customer relationships and ensuring high levels of adoptions and satisfaction, resulting in renewals and upgrades.;Main point of contact for all post-sales efforts for strategic accounts, focusing on customer success and customer service.;Work with customers to discover how Sumo Logic can add value to their businesses, and identify potential upgrade opportunities.;Be a customer advocate, driving relationships with key customers and creating new champions.;Achieve a quota of new sales growth within customer base and for renewals each quarter.;Handle all contract renewal negotiations, ensuring customer renew at the same or better ARR rate.;Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Engineering teams to maximize customer success and account growth.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:3+ years of account management experience (SaaS/B2B/Technology experience preferred);Excellent customer management skills (including sales, account management, customer service);Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment;Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over-achievement;Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and organization;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Curious and creative problem solver;Excellent time management skills;Bachelors degree
