Collect data on new markets and growth opportunities within existing markets. Assist and sometimes lead in creating strategies and campaigns to stay current and help Lube-Tech advance against competition and support customer needs. Assist in documenting and tracking of category management plans and product lifecycle management of Lube-Tech’s different divisions. Stay up-to-date on most effective ways to gather voice of customer feedback; participate in and sometimes lead voice of customer projects, including consumer research and customer interviews. Estimate market size and market share potential for a variety of market segments. Perform SWOT analyses, benchmarking exercises and pricing studies for a variety of customer, competitor and market situations. Campaign Development (50%) Maintain customer-specific marketing calendars to provide visibility to planned and completed content and collateral development, internal and external communications and promotional activities, including print, channel specific promotions, digital initiatives, training, new customer launches and more. Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager to develop and execute various promotions (via emails, web, coupon, POP, direct mail, industry advertising) to drive growth in new and existing channels and help build customers’ brands. Identify opportunities to repurpose and expand existing content into new formats to support growth and customer’s needs. Analyze campaign results and gather customer insights to refine future promotional activity. Work closely with the sales and product management teams to ensure campaigns and promotions align with customer or channel goals and objectives. Manage development of creative concepts to support campaigns, including idea generation, copywriting and layout direction when applicable. Create design requests for internal graphic designers and coordinate project completion. Continuously strives to improve the quality and effectiveness of all marketing communications (internal or external). Other (10%) Other projects as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Business. 0-3 + years related job experience with emphasis in marketing Basic understanding of all marketing formats (print, web, social, email, etc.) and how each format can be leveraged to maximize marketing results. Must have strong organizational and project management skills and be detail-oriented. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep momentum to manage to project due dates. Sets realistic deadlines and expectations and consistently delivers results. Demonstrates high sense of urgency and customer focus. Can work effectively as an individual contributor and collaboratively as a team member, including cross-functionally with sales, product management, IT and customers. Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of audiences from customers to peers to senior management. Must be a strategic thinker that demonstrates ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and responds appropriately to uncertain or changing conditions. Takes initiative and persists in the face of difficulties. Creative with the ability to bring new concepts and ideas to market. Ability to identify problems and develop solutions. Strong listening, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to understand complex/technical customer and market dynamics with the ability to translate into communications that are easily understood by non-technical readers Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Digital media experience. Some basic page layout graphic design experience helpful. Knowledge of energy or petroleum markets. Knowledge of the retail channel. Knowledge of small engine OEM dealer channels in either powersports, marine or lawn & garden markets.
