Luminar Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking applicants for an Entry Level Staff Accountant – AR and Fixed Assets to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities Provide accounting related activities including month end close, account reconciliations, internal controls, and general ledger activity Work with Sales staff to invoice sales timely and in accordance with customer agreement Post receipts in a timely and accurate manner Ensure all customer accounts reconciliations are timely and accurate Correspond with customers on the status of their accounts Track Capital Asset purchases and record according to company policy Update Fixed Asset system and track depreciation of assets Maintain internal controls Work with external audit firm and prepare accounting schedules Other responsibilities per the direction of management Qualifications Accounting experience Experience with an ERP system Automotive experience preferred Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening) Strong computer skills MS (Excel/PowerPoint) Ability to communicate department cost/accounting information Understand lean manufacturing principles Ability to analyze and solve problems Knowledge of continuous improvements Credential & Educational Requirements BS in Accounting, Finance or related field About Luminar Luminar is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to diversity and inclusion.
