Build and maintain client relationships, most specifically in the federal markets. Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities. Create a demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with clients. Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Leverage comprehension of business, financials, products or services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts. Serve as a team lead working on high complexity tasks in the account, products and services, and sales or account management process, as needed.
10+ years of experience with sales or business development
7+ years of experience with selling software or products into the federal space
Experience with Cybersecurity or IT services required
Experience with building a sales pipeline and closing business deals
Ability to leverage expertise in the technology and SaaS, manufacturing and distribution, real estate and construction, higher education, or the financial services industry required
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with selling privacy or Cybersecurity services to mid-market clients preferred
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
Knowledge of the endpoint security, enterprise mobility, and mobile product space, trends, and direction
Ability to leverage an excellent personal network within the industry
Ability to be driven, highly motivated, and passionate about sales
Ability to pay strict attention to detail and follow up
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph a plus
