Knowledge Center Analysts work collaboratively with Huntington Commercial Bank sales colleagues and their fellow market research analysts to research, analyze, and outline insights that identify and win market place opportunities across regions, industry sectors, business segments, and a wide range of customers and prospects.
This candidate will put their strong quantitative background to work as they analyze patterns and trends in data that spans across Huntington’s Commercial Banking customers. They will also exercise their creative skills to synthesize the findings into presentations that convey insights and recommendations through storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and a mastery of details. A core component of this position will be to build industry benchmarking studies of Huntington Commercial Bank customers in order to communicate industry and vertical trends.
Analyze data and craft analysis to supplement content such as client/prospect intelligence reports, market overviews/sizing, industry/market trend identification and analysis, value chain mapping, and competitive landscape assessments
Use creative thinking and problem solving to research, analyze, and outline data-driven insights that identify and win opportunities across regions, lines of business, and a wide range of customers and prospects
Leverage professional needs assessment (reference interviewing) as well as written and verbal communication skills to understand and deliver on the research and analysis needs of sales teams, leadership, and product partners
Ability to apply visualization techniques to internal and external data sources to make accurate and actionable analyses in a timely fashion
Strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
Work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines
Ensure all work meets compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
3+ years experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Decision Sciences, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a STEM degree
Direct experience with SQL programming and large database applications such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SPSS, Teradata, and Hadoop
Strong experience with business intelligence and data mining tools such as BusinessObjects, MicroStrategy, Tableau and Tableau Server, Alteryx, or SAS Enterprise Guide/Miner
One (1) to three (3) years’ work experience in visualization/dashboarding or analytics, data process automation
Documented success in roles which demonstrate critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
