Description: Plan Sponsor Insights (PSI) is searching for a self-motivated, passionate, consultative, experienced clinical leader to lead a geo-aligned team of consultants who provide insights and solutions to group commercial customers. This position provides oversight and strategic direction to a talented team of clinical consultants and works directly with account teams and plan sponsors. The Senior Director works with territory leadership - across segments - to ensure strategic alignment and partners with business owners to achieve business objectives and improve organizational effectiveness. This role requires a strong leader able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with prior experience managing a multi-disciplinary team, a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry including benefit strategies and emerging trends, and strong communication skills with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external constituents (including but not limited to brokers, consultants, existing customers, prospects, and industry groups). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing team and monitoring their on-going success. The team, including the Sr. Director, is responsible for creating content for use in external discussions and clearly articulating results and solutions to a wide range, and levels, of audiences. This role requires a thorough understanding of healthcare analytics including trend, population health and clinical programs. 60983 Fundamental Components: Manage and coach team of clinical consultants to provide consistent, quality consultative support to the account teams and customers Provide consultative clinical support to customers, consultants and prospects based on analysis and identification of key drivers of results Recommend clinical programs and services that align with the customer's strategy and help drive short and long term results Development and presentation of clinical content and recommendations to share externally in customer facing meetings Act as a trusted clinical resource providing clinical program guidance based on strong knowledge of Aetna’s programs and services Collaborate across the enterprise and with clinical operations Provide input to the design of clinical solutions Stay current on, and share knowledge of, population health trends Background Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) License ; Required 10 +years clinical experience (may be a combination of different sites of care practice including: hospital, clinic, and/or community health); Required 10+ years of experience in, and knowledge of, the healthcare industry and market; Required 3+ years of Healthcare Consultation Experience working with External Constituents; Required Deep knowledge of medical management products, programs and services; Required Demonstrated leadership (3+ years) ability including continued process improvement and development of a high performance culture Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail Excellent consultative, communication and presentation skills (ability to take complex content and facilitate understanding for the audience). Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional initiatives Demonstrated experience implementing change Strong computer skills using Excel, Word and PowerPoint Master's Degree; Preferred Additional Job Information: The Plan Sponsor Insights (PSI) team provides customer consultative insights for Aetna’s commercial business segments.
