Mission Critical Systems is hiring full-time experienced IT Security Sales Account Manager to cover Enterprise Accounts (5,000 employees and above) throughout Georgia. The candidate will be responsible for selling name brand Network Security products to new and existing accounts. The Sales candidate will be responsible for selling Network Security products (Firewalls, Anti-Malware, Web App Firewalls, Database Security, DLP, etc) via face-to-face and telephone meetings, with technical engineers to back them up. Sales rep candidates should have prior experience in the IT space (preferably IT Security) and be looking for a long-term career in the Computer / Security industry. Candidate must also be prepared for deep technical learning, experience selling large ticket items, and managing 25-30 accounts at the same time. Prospecting and networking are essential for all candidates. (50% hunting, 50% farming).
DUTIES - Successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
Calling on new and existing accounts within the Georgia area
Generating opportunities from networking, marketing engagements, and other creative approaches
Helping customers identify proper technology solutions to achieve their Security goals
Generating sales pipelines to achieve quota
Contributing product feedback to Mission Critical Systems management
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Taking advantage of training and learning opportunities to offer valuable consultative advice to customers
SALES SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Required 5+ years software or IT sales experience. Selling network security or computer software products is a plus. College studies in Business, MIS, or Computer Information Systems is recommended.
Successful Sales Track Record with specifics on quota achievement, clients and deal sizes in the range of $100K+
Ability to master technical products and understand how they protect a customer’s network.
Computer literate in terms of standard Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with network infrastructure.
