Aperia Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our Marketing team as a Content Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully launching and maintaining marketing campaigns on Email, Social Media, Online Advertisements and more. We are looking for someone who is internet savvy, creative, self-motivated, results driven and a team player. Candidate should be passionate about all things digital marketing and should have a hands-on, sales-focused, creative mindset for building brands, driving traffic and conversions, and engaging audiences through technical and creative writing, and campaign building.
This position is located in Burlingame, CA but could also be located in the Detroit, Michigan area .
Strategizing, executing, optimizing and reporting on various marketing initiatives including online advertising and lead generation, lead nurturing, customer marketing and support, online webinars, etc.
Optimizing Aperia’s email marketing system with responsibility for establishing workflows and maintaining customer and prospect databases.
Works closely with management and team leaders from marketing, sales and service to identify, develop, track and report on digital campaign results and adjust strategies to achieve company objectives.
Establish an editorial calendar, develop content across channels and oversee daily management of the company’s media and social presence.
Write and schedule: weekly social media posts, monthly technical articles, and product promotions.
Design and develop quarterly newsletters, customer outreach emails, and manage email recipient lists.
Create lead generation content strategies through email, social and organic search to increase user engagement and conversions.
Create metrics and dashboards to understand and report on content, social media, and email marketing performance.
Own brand tone of voice and ensure consistency across all channels and departments.
Work with VP of Marketing on website content, design, and SEO strategies.
Lead the creation of marketing and advertising collateral, as well as, photo and video content for the website.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar field
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple obligations; meet deadlines while under pressure; self-disciplined.
Must possess extremely proficient writing and editing skills; experience in creating, composing and writing articles and ad-based copy – experience in technical or industrial writing a plus.
Expert-level understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google+, both as a marketer and as a user.
Familiar with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other media editing software
Experience using Salesforce CRM and Pardot
Experience planning and executing SEO, social media, content and local search marketing campaigns
Proficient at Google Analytics, AdWords, Pardot and other industry digital marketing and analytics tools
Ability to perform well with or without detailed directions and deliver high-quality work with attention to detail
