Something very exciting is underway in Goshen, New York. Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND Park and Hotel in New York is Merlin’s biggest single investment to date and you could play a crucial part in this amazing project!
We’re now looking for a unique person who has a passion for building strategic partnerships and promotional marketing campaigns, who will lead the way in Delivering the Magic as we bring the world’s ninth LEGOLAND Park to life brick by brick. You will support bringing the project from construction to a bricktastic place filled with smiles.
About The Role
The Brand Manager role be the LEGOLAND New York Resort Brand expert and ensure adherence to all branding guidelines. Oversee and drive the development of all communication material, to ensure consistency across all touch points covering Park, Hotel and Second gate. Lead campaign and ‘Above The Line’ media plan development and execution.
Deliver targeted awareness, agreed park positioning and visit intension level.
Ensure access to images and material to develop high quality communication material.
Ensure material are approved and delivered on time, on brand and within budget.
Service and coordinate with Retail, F&B, operations and other relevant departments to ensure their needs in relation to communication material are meet.
Manage the allocated annual creative development, print and media implementation budget.
Experience managing creative and advertising development is a must. Ideally for highly visible projects or brands, and including TV commercial, billboards (OOH / Out of Home Media), digital banners.
Experience in advertising and media buying – TV, Print and Digital Media
Managing Creative and Media Agency (Account Manager from creative / branding agency is acceptable)
Strategic brand positioning and communications experience
Experience with brand tracking
Brand Building Experience
Theme park, hotel, resort or attraction a plus.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to Manage relationships and collaborate with other relevant depts. (operations teams, sales teams, etc).
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team (managing and working with creative teams – graphic designers – a plus)
Bachelor’s degree Majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or other related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of marketing and brand management experience.
