About the role:
This role will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy, messaging, content and collateral, as well as targeted programs to drive further awareness of and opportunities for our products in the apparel, food, beauty, luxury, and other trend-driven manufacturing industries.
In this role you’ll:
Be the expert on how Nuxeo capabilities can solve business and technical problems in some or all of the target industries above
Understand business and technical challenges of this customer segment
Understand the Nuxeo product and architecture; its strengths, weaknesses, product gaps, and roadmap
Collaborate with cross-functional team of product marketing leadership, demand generation, and digital leadership to agree on campaign themes and messaging, content and design requirements, and production schedule
Ensure campaigns are executed on time
Produce core content necessary for each campaign, including white papers, reports, longer website copy, infographics
Sales enablement and support: be the industry expert that sales turns to for assistance.
Help sales articulate industry pain points and Nuxeo solutions
Understand how Nuxeo messaging is resonating in the field, and make adjustments accordingly
Be a thought leader for Nuxeo in the industry: Speak at conferences, customer events, and in sales engagements with prospects as an industry SME
Be an advocate for industry use cases within Nuxeo: Educate our executive and product teams on industry trends and how Nuxeo can improve product-market fit
Demonstrated technical aptitude either in undergraduate education or on the job experience, MBA preferred
5+ years of specialized experience and or a combination of experiences in product marketing, product management, presales, and consulting
Experience at a B2B software company with relatively technical products, preferred
You’re a fast learner, insatiably curious, facile in both business and technical conversations with people at every level of the business.
You’re creative, and a constant source of new ideas for how to message, how to market, and how to position Nuxeo for success.
You’re analytical: you can look at an industry or customer you have no experience with, analyze it, and develop a strong point of view on the ambitions of companies in that industry and how Nuxeo can support them
You have experience in the target industries: you’ve either worked inside a target industry company on improving creative processes and understand how they work and think, or you’ve marketed or sold similar solutions to them
You’re great at managing many strands of work at once and comfortable with rapid change
You’re equally comfortable thinking strategically about the state of our business or the market, and tactically about getting the next nurture campaign done and out the door
You’ve demonstrated rapid growth in responsibility and leadership in your prior roles
