The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is the global champion for smart growth & operational alignment - delivering financial predictability and control, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions and resources, and shareholder success.
We are seeking a n Analyst or Senior Analyst to join the F&S team supporting the Customer Su ccess Group (CSG) focusing on r enewals and revenue lifecycle management. This role requires strong analytical skills and a high degree of internal customer interaction, with a focus towards operational efficiency and process enhancement. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Renewals F&S.
The candidate will understand the key drivers of the r enewals business to provide executive level decision support to cross-functional stakeholders , and will be responsible for reviewing and reporting metrics on customer attrition . Deliverables include robust reporting frameworks , performance metric analysis, driving operational improvements, and packaging findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives.
Review lost recurring revenue on a monthly basis to validate and report customer attrition
Present analysis and key insights to senior executives by becoming a subject matter expert on customer attrition key performance indicators.
Align and integrate customer attrition metrics from recent acquisitions into the Salesforce reporting framework
Determine proper treatment of complex deals in partnership with Sales, CSG, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that appropriate internal and external metrics are used to measure customer retention
Lead/participate in cross-functional projects across F&S to improve reporting and forecasting infrastructure
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas
2+ years of work experience in analytically demanding financial or strategic services role such as Investment Banking, Management Consulting or Corporate Finance / FP&A at a top tier firm or Fortune 500
Very strong Excel modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models using logical reasoning
Intellectually curious, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset
Extensive experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for management and executive teams
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple work streams simultaneously with limited guidance, while keeping management informed by providing proactive status updates
Proven and effective cross-functional communication skills (both written and verbal) in a high-paced, dynamic environment
High tech or software industry experience preferred. SaaS industry experience a plus
In-depth experience with reporting and analytical applications (Business Objects and Salesforce)
Experience and comfort with SQL or related data analysis languages
