Technical Trainer & Change Management Specialist
We are seeking a Technical Training & Change Management Specialist to work with our Google clients to envision, plan, and deliver user adoption, training, and change management as it pertains to the G Suite.
The technical trainer coordinates training sessions, provides instruction and training, and guide developmental projects within our client’s organizations. The technical trainer is expected to have a niche of expertise with reputable certification; clients consult them for knowledge and guidance in these areas. In person conferences and/or webinars may be used to teach personnel from the designated organizations. Individuals in this position are also expected to create educational materials and coursework.
As the technical trainer, you must advise and educate employees, managers, C Level and technical staff alike to generate higher technological efficiency within an organization. Designing training programs, offerings, plans, and appropriate data procedures to measure user adoption and engagement are regular obligations of technical trainers. You also work in unison with the information technology (IT) department and the human resources. The classes may be on new platform and upgrades, cybersecurity measures, and organizational safety. Lead technical training for internal Sales Engineers and Technical account managers.
The technical trainer must be able to identify customer business needs, work with the client to define success criteria to craft a training and adoption plan. As the Technical trainer, you must obtain an ongoing education and certification renewals to keep pace with the advancement of Google technology and evolving Cloud integrated applications to consultatively prescribe the best approach for the client. In addition to excellent technical skills and platform knowledge, the technical trainer must be able to communicate effectively, provide clear instruction, and possess advanced presentation and social skills
Lead training (in person & virtual) on Small to large Enterprise projects
Serve as ongoing adoption consultant for clients and help in strategizing their long-term adoption goals
Lead clients through organizational transition to G Suite
Identify change impacts and craft training plan to address these challenges
Create and design organization readiness assessments
Create training knowledge base/artifacts to continue improving our library of materials
Define success criteria
Create data metrics to measure training and adoption/mutually agreed upon success criteria
Facilitate training in a variety of mediums such as remote webinar, pre-recorded/edited videos or self paced training, training guides, onsite in person training
Work with internal project resources to strategically schedule training engagements
Work with technical engineers to understand transition impacts and expand knowledge of implementations and engagement opportunities
Work with the development team to craft training programs for Dito specific products
You Would Be Great For This Position If You Have:
Advanced expertise training on G Suite (mail, calendar, drive, and editors)
Advanced experience with GSuite Implementations
Knowledge of Cloud integrated platforms and applications
Experience creating, using and analyzing data metrics
Previous experience with change management driving user acceptance of new tools or technologies
Strong analytical skills and good problem-solving skills in response to changing client needs
Bachelor's Degree in Communications or equivalent experience in a training and/or communications department
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, an energetic and professional demeanor, and experience being very client oriented
Strong technical writing skills and ability to work on large, remote project teams
Travel: Less than 15% travel required.
