Job Description Are you looking for a fun and challenging job in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an immediate need of an experienced IT Business Services Manager who will be responsible for the IT purchasing process, IT related vendor and contract relationship management, IT Services Catalog, IT Asset management, and more. What you’ll do: IT purchasing (researching product, obtaining quotes, negotiating discounts. Includes software, hardware, supplies and services) IT vendor management (relationship, QBRs, ROI review, information gathering) IT contract lifecycle management (Initial, review, renew, cancellation) IT service catalog management (define, update, cost, price, audit) IT asset management (hardware and software Inventory, tracking, status, delivery, retirement) IT financial accounting (costing, budgeting, reconciliation, cross charge, etc) How you'll do it: Ensure all IT purchases (hardware, software, supplies & services) follow the predefined IT purchasing process and meet all the necessary pre approvals. Work with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements, as necessary, to this process. Ensure all vendors meet or exceed MX vendor requirements by establishing a rubric for measurement. Maintain a list of vendors, vendor types, contact information, status, products/services being provided to MX, products and services available to MX but not currently being provided, notes etc. Establish a cadence for reviewing the vendor. Teach and help stakeholders requesting software how to identify critical needs, requirements, preferences, expectations, metrics, impacting compliance controls and ROI requirements. Coach them through the decision process. Engage all business units proactively to help prevent shadow IT. Manage all IT contracts through the lifecycle stages. Obtain all of the necessary documents for both MX Information Security and MX Legal review. Coordinate all communications between the vendor and InfoSec and Legal. Ensure all binding contracts and terms are reviewed by legal. Ensure all contracts are assigned by the appropriate member of the Executive leadership team. Track important contract dates such as termination notice dates, renewal dates, etc Coordinate QBRs and renewal meetings. Obtain ROI information from sponsors and stakeholders for renewals. Ensure all contracts to be terminated are documented and terminated appropriately as prescribed in the contracts and agreements. Ensure all assets purchased are properly tagged and added to ServiceNow. Lead asset auditing efforts. Ensure software audits are completed regularly and any violations are mitigated Develop solid rapport and working relationship with Accounting and Finance Work closely with IT leadership to develop work priorities Work hand-in-hand with accounting and finance to ensure policy and procedures are met including information is delivered on time and is accurate. In partnership with stakeholders (IT and business) research, price and identify hardware standards for all equipment and supplies. Add, modify and retire hardware from the IT Service Catalog. Assist in identifying opportunities to continuously improve IT operations and drive accountability for IT expenditures across all business units.
