The team Our Sales & Business Development teams collaborate with customers and partners across the globe to help them leverage the DocuSign Agreement Cloud to transform the entire system of agreement process—from preparing to signing, acting on, and managing contracts and other types of agreements. Whether you are selling to a small business or a large enterprise, you will apply your extensive knowledge of our solutions, and leverage our strategic partnerships to help our customers grow their top and bottom line. This Position The Director of Business Development drives engagement with strategic business Partners as a member of the North America Business Development team; and, manages the Business Development Partner team that aligns to DocuSign's Commercial segment. The BD Director creates and executes the GTM strategy with a focus on pipeline development and revenue generation. This is a revenue-generating and growing team that has a direct impact on the success of the Partners organization. This position is a People Manager and reports to the Senior Director of North America Business Development and Channels. Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with key strategic Partners Negotiate Partner agreements Drive revenue through and with partner teams committed to DocuSign business lines Identify strategic imperatives for partner success for the Commercial segment across North America Oversee a team of Business Development people Coach and develop team members to advance their capabilities and careers Create annual partner GTM plans with Sales Management Work with Commercial Sales teams to generate revenue through partner channels Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue through partners Work cross functionally to execute GTM activities with partners Act as the primary point of contact for your partners internally and externally Travel up to 30% of time required Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience, in a SaaS company, in Partner Sales, Business Development, Alliances or Channel Sales 3+ years managing Partner Sales or Business Development teams A BA/BS degree Preferred Qualifications 5+ years managing Partner Sales teams within a SaaS-based offering, ideally Cloud – this includes building and managing the day-to-day aspects of a growing sales team 7+ years overall experience in Partner Sales or Business Development – including the development of long-term, strategic Partnerships Execution-focused and able to think strategically Track record of exceeding quota targets Proven ability to influence senior leadership - collaboration across the org with various departments Self-starter with effective time management skills Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strength in presentation to senior client and partner leadership Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment MBA or Master's Degree a plus About Us DocuSign® helps organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements.
