The Community Cloud developer will join the Commercial applications development team that creates state of art CRM and web applications with Salesforce Clouds, Salesforce Community Cloud, and web development tools. These applications are used by ANSYS sales, marketing and business operations to manage over $1.2B in revenue. They are also used by our customers worldwide to interact with ANSYS, use our software, and obtain support.
The Community Cloud developer works in a multi-functional team, following the Agile Scrum approach. She or he will build solutions using the lightning system in Salesforce Community Cloud as part of the overall CRM deployment.
Work inside a development team that builds applications with Salesforce and CMS tools (Sitecore) to provide an unified, Omni channel, customer experience.
Work in Agile Scrum cycle, groom user stories for the development work, participate to planning, and deliver products within the Scrum team.
Work closely with the design team on user interface design and branding (themes); versed in delivering responsive websites.
Provide expertise to the Salesforce configuration team and web development team, especially as technical SME in the Lightning Systems
Build custom components in the Lightning systems
Follow standard design patterns, coding practices, keeping custom code organized, readable, maintainable, and documented.
Participate in testing, continuous testing during the development cycle and support UAT sessions
Post delivery, continue improving the product in an Agile Scrum approach and assist in supporting live applications
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
3+ years experience as Salesforce developer
Strong understanding of Communities capabilities and design options (lightning systems)
2-3 years of experience with Salesforce triggers and workflows
Located and able to work in the U.S. (US person, citizen or GC)
3+ years experience with Salesforce.com configuration
Salesforce certifications: Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, lightning components trailhead badges
Knowledge of Salesforce.com Apex, visual force, API preferred
SOAP/REST services 2-3 years preferred
Experience with Lightning Components building
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
