The Junior IS Analyst will be a member of the Information Systems team and responsibilities will include building different reporting solutions to improve / modify the company processes and provide support to end users. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop reporting solutions, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. The successful applicant will have strong attention to detail, a drive to learn, and a demonstrated orientation toward continuous improvement. This position is based at USNR’s office in Woodland, WA.
Able to analyze, define and understand business processes
Reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Very good communication skills
Creative and be able to “think outside the box” to find a solution
Able to research by using available resources (Google, blogs, etc.)
Computer science degree or equivalent experience in the domain
0-5 year(s) of experience with computer systems
Ability to travel to USNR global facilities
Microsoft Office productivity software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project
Understanding the roles of sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, bills of material, production routes, invoices, inventory, etc. within a business process context
Microsoft SQL Server or other database applications
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Helps identify user requirements, find existing solutions, or propose new solutions
Experience writing scripts to automate processes (VB Script, Excel macros, PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Flow, Access, etc.)
