Job Description

OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE The Campaign Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with the Company’s Workflow Management Team (Agile) to coordinate and organize two types of campaigns; Corporate Marketing Campaigns and Business Unit Campaigns (internal departments). MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS Participates in the campaign planning process. Works with internal staff to facilitate the development and implementation of Corporate Marketing campaign strategies. Ensures alignment with company objectives and communication with appropriate stakeholders. Documents the plans as directed. Using the results from the campaign planning process, coordinates the development and supports the strategies for assigned Business Unit campaigns. Works with appropriate staff to ensure understanding of objectives and timing. Documents the plans as directed. Works with key stakeholders to develop tactical campaign elements consistent with Company and Business Unit campaign objectives. Understands and communicates resource requirements, timing and Agile Team capacity. Documents and monitors campaign activities and tracks progress towards execution. Manages the Corporate Marketing campaign Agile Team Sprint scheduling, backlog grooming and the backlog process in support of the Marketing Manager. Communicates resource requirements and timing to appropriate stakeholders. (i.e., Web, Advertising, Inside Sales, etc.). Provides regular status updates and documentation for all Corporate campaigns. Following the campaign planning process, coordinates the Agile planning process for assigned Business Unit Campaigns with the business unit staff. Provides regular status updates and documentation on all assigned campaigns to appropriate stakeholders. Prepares timely marketing activity reports that tracks and monitors campaign results based on campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Leads the Agile team in the absence of the Marketing Manager. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field is required. Science course work or experience is a plus. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Additionally, project management experience is preferred. Specialized Training/Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills In-depth understanding of communication strategies, marketing tools & tactics with an emphasis in electronic marketing and strategic planning Ability to translate complex, strategic content into engaging, easy-to-understand messages Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team environment Open to taking on new challenges and proposing new ideas Comfortable creating and nurturing partnerships across functional areas of the business Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs ATG, Oracle, and JDE knowledge a plus
