This role is responsible for performing various service/administrative duties accurately, efficiently, and successfully to completion daily. Managing and driving the daily workload of internal/external requests and/or projects to completion.
Responding directly and/or routing phone and email correspondence to the proper parties as required.
Entering sales orders, expedites, blanket orders, stocking orders, RMA product orders, demo orders and marketing material orders.
Providing the internal/external customers with order status updates, order acknowledgements, shipping and tracking information.
Processing Return Material Authorizations (RMA); general product returns, warranty exchanges, and consignment product items.
Working collaboratively within an assigned regional team and with other departments to manage and resolve customer issues.
Assisting the sales team with contracts, price lists, discounts, quote pricing and product lead-time questions and/or communications.
Providing basic sizing information on NIA product line(s).
Utilizing CRM, ERP and other applications to perform daily work such as producing reports, and maintaining database integrity; hold codes, customer/account updates, product updates and discount information.
Maintaining a proficient working knowledge of the company’s business systems, tools and resources.
Assisting customers and internal staff members with a new customers account set up; process/paperwork.
Coordinating and resolving customer accounting issues; proforma invoices, credit returns, credit hold resolutions, stock rotations, and revised purchase order retrieval.
Assisting the Customer Service Supervisor with various internal projects as needed; resolving complex problems.
Adherence to all established company policies; employee, sales, customer service and safety policies.
Regularly attending all required meetings and training sessions.
Assist the Customer Service Supervisor with new hire training when requested.
Provide backup coverage for other customer service representatives; training, meetings, vacations, sick time, etc.
Flexibility around working hours may be required.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by management.

Past professional work experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel applications
Ability to learn and adopt new computer systems and software applications
Prior experience with an ERP system a plus
A minimum of two years’ (2) experience working with customers (in an office setting) required. We are seeking a consultative and service-oriented Customer Service professional. This is not a retail position.
