Job Description

The Pumps Equipment division specializes in pumping solutions specifically engineered for the processes of our customers. We provide pumps, agitators, compressors, grinders and screens developed through intensive research and development in fluid dynamics and advanced materials. We are a market leader in pumping solutions for water, oil and gas, power, chemicals and most industrial segments. Summary: The Customer Service Representative manages all the inside support functions for our distributors and customers. The candidate works as a team with the regional sales manager to train accounts on our order processes. Essential Functions: Order Management – Order entry, scheduling, backlog management Interface with distributors and representatives to co-ordinate shipments to customers Liaise with accounting and customers to ensure prompt payment of our invoices Various levels of product research Coordinate with warehouse and assembly, shipping to insure on time delivery of orders to the customer Assist distributors with identification of parts, quotations, availability, expediting, returns and general customer service support Various levels of product research including spare parts selection Works with Applications Engineers to provide efficient support for the full range of products Prepare internal reports as required Safety obligations: All employees understand and are able to explain the structure and objectives of the SBP. All employees follow the safety rules. All employees have "the right and duty to intervene" in the event a safety concern becomes evident. In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident. All employees are required to comply with all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to proper use of required PPE at all times. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Qualifications: Associate's Degree with a business focus plus one year of customer service experience. Superior organizational and analytical skills Able to multi task, keep to schedules and deadlines Ability to work independently and be team focused Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Internet Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree with a business focus or other relevant major preferred SAP experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 25 pounds Typing. Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with one hour unpaid lunch break 40 hours per week
