Syndicate Sales is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to join the Marketing Team. This position will report directly to the Senior Creative and Marketing Manager to plan and produce dynamic online content and campaigns that promote our products and educate our customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Website Management Assist in developing integrated marketing plans and strategies for promotional campaigns focused on product promotions, rewards program updates, upcoming tradeshows, and industry news Translate our three main market channels’ business and communication objectives into interactive online experiences that are on-brand, on-strategy, usable and memorable Create and maintain an editorial calendar for website content updates Website & Digital Content Ensure that all company and product content is up-to-date and linked to the correct locations so that all required parties have access Create designs for online promotional ads and on-site web content, including product, category and landing pages Take lead on product photography and ensure the website and the department’s product library reflects all current images Recommend website improvements with the Marketing and IT staff in support of marketing strategies Collect and report on metrics, analyze, and use results to improve effectiveness Email Marketing Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Senior Creative and Marketing Manager to create and project plan strategic email marketing campaigns and execute through the full project lifecycle Setup, maintain, and track the health of the company email lists Collect and report on metrics, analyze, and use results to improve effectiveness Digital Design Design and execution of scalable, cross-functional digital campaigns for our three main market channels Design for the digital space with understanding of the unique challenges of digital and mobile platforms. Traditional Graphic Design Assist with graphic design needs of the department. This might include flyers, brochures, catalogs, sell sheets, packaging, carton graphics, etc. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Digital Design, Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience (5-7 years preferred). Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years professional design & digital (mobile & web) experience in an agency, or in-house environment; although the majority of the projects will be focused on digital design, you must be able to adapt and willing to switch between web/digital design and print/ traditional work Must be able to work independently and remotely while communicating with various geographically dispersed team members Must be an aggressive learner with the ability to seek out new and advancing technologies to improve the email and website marketing metrics Must be able to take direction, as well as conceptualize and design projects independently Consistently apply and enforce branding and style guidelines Ability to communicate design concepts to a general audience Ability to learn from and handle critiques; flexible and responsive to feedback Advanced problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to quickly understand and complete projects Must have proven experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc) Have a thorough understanding of interaction design principles and methodologies—extraordinary typography, color and layout skills Experience with UI/UX, and mobile-first design Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards and understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end development (no coding needed, although you must have the ability to translate designs to a programmer via wireframes, designs, and written instruction) Familiarity with project management tools Familiarity with still photography and photo editing An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously A proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines. Efficient organizational skills and a motivated dedication to the creative team A natural curiosity in digital, floral, cultural and societal trends
