Job Description

Ajilon is working closely with a client in the northern Illinois, Southern WI region (Elgin/Elkhorn/Lake Geneva area) to find an individual for a full-time Business Development role in freight sales. In this role you will be responsible for selling all modes and directions including import, export, air and ocean. You will service house accounts and handle lead generation. You can expect to be in the office 1-2 days a week and out in the field the remainder of the time. Responsibilities: Technical sales role to include international freight forwarding sales experience Service house accounts Responsible for lead generation and maintaining database Create quotes as needed Assist in operational tasks Qualifications: Cargolize software knowledge Microsoft Office Work well with leadership teams and executives Driven and motivated Experience: 5 years in technical sales role 5 years in international freight forwarding Hours: Direct Hire Education: Associates Degree preferred Salary: $65,000.00 plus commission If you are interested in this Business development position in the northern Illinois area, or other roles currently available, please submit your resume today to
