Vice President, Product Management Grayshift builds advanced digital forensic capabilities to support local, state, and federal government agencies to provide lawful access to encrypted mobile devices. The Company’s initial product and SaaS-based solution provide market-leading mobile device access and data extraction capabilities for smartphone devices. This solution is a plug-and-play platform, which is controlled through an easy-to-use web interface that can access critical encrypted device information leading to full decrypted mobile access. Data extracted by Grayshift’s solution is compatible with the market-leading data forensic analysis software tools. In our short history, Grayshift has sold licenses to many law enforcement, national defense, and intelligence agencies throughout the United States, Europe, and beyond. Grayshift provides a critical evidence-gathering tool to its customers who utilize digital evidence in 85% of investigations and rank smartphones as the most important and frequently used source of digital evidence. Grayshift’s founders are leaders in security research, vulnerability exploitation, and building access technology, with over 60 years of combined industry experience and have worked together for most of the last decade. Job Description Grayshift is seeking an experienced product leader to plan, drive our overall product strategy, and execute throughout the product lifetime. In this role, you will be gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, analyzing the market and competition, and working closely with engineering, research, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals. The VP, Product Management’s job also includes ensuring that the product fully supports the company’s overall strategy and goals along with recommendations on building a strong team. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the role requires an individual to have an extraordinary blend of business and technical knowledge, a big-picture vision, and the drive, influencing skills, and ability to collaborate with Executive Staff and critical departments to transform that vision into a reality. Responsibilities Set the short-term goals and long-term vision for Grayshift’s products; Collaborate and define the product strategy and roadmap with the executive team; Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product; Integrate with sales and support for product/market feedback; Be an expert to the competition and keen awareness of technology and product trends; Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, and anticipating demand volume; Balance needs of customer feature requests, sales objections, product roadmap, software update/maintenance; Prepare market requirement documents and product requirement documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification to drive an Agile development process and actively participate in the development process to bring “voice of customer” perspective; Review inventory levels and production schedules for product availability; Partner with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities; Collaborate with the sales lead to creating product sales strategies, tools, and collateral; Partner with the engineering lead for product development planning and design reviews; Work with the support lead to understand product challenges, support requirements, and feature requests; Work as a team with the CSM/operations team to derive key customer/user findings based on product analytics and use the same to influence future product/feature direction; Work together with the executive team and department team leaders on corporate strategic planning. Job Requirements Minimum of 6+ years experience as a SaaS Product Manager; Demonstrated success defining and supporting excellent products with growing revenues and customer bases; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical degree preferred, MBA desirable; Excellent teamwork skills; Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; Successful experience in creating and leading initiatives across teams and business unit functions; At least 5+ years managing teams with a proven track record of identifying and recruiting potential talent, focusing on developing an exemplary team with ongoing coaching and training; Experienced at bringing together diverse views and team building. Experience working with Law Enforcement and/or Government market/customers is a plus.
